Preservation & shadow box framing

We build shadow boxes for anything a flat frame can't hold — military achievements, sports memorabilia, collector's items, museum-quality displays, and family heirlooms. Not every framer knows how to properly preserve a needlepoint or a fragile keepsake; it's one of our specialties.

Wooden or acrylic bases, handcrafted stands, engraving, and laminating for gifts, trophies, and awards — all done in-house.

Oversized & deep-object framing

Abnormal dimensions don't turn us away. We frame maps, jerseys, wedding vows, diplomas, and gallery-wall collections at any scale — plus objects with real depth, built into a deep box frame instead of forced flat against glass.

UV-protected glass on every job, to keep the sun from doing to your piece what forty years already tried to.

Custom picture frames

A huge selection of in-stock, ready-for-delivery moulding — wood, metal, and medium-density fiberboard — in styles from gilded traditional to rustic reclaimed wood. Framing does more than protect a photograph; it draws the eye and gives the piece the attention it deserves.

Acrylic boxes & custom bases

Display cases and handcrafted bases for dolls, art sculptures, awards, and collector's pieces — the kind of presentation a museum would use, sized to whatever you're protecting.

Same-day framing

Certificates, diplomas, degrees, children's artwork, photographs — the pieces that shouldn't spend another week held up with tape and thumbtacks. Bring it to Fountain View and we'll have it framed and ready the same day.

Signs, banners & lettering

My Workshop also produces vinyl banners, lot and lawn signs, window lettering, vehicle magnets, and custom engraving for Houston businesses, organizations, and special events. Bring the message and the dimensions; the team will help work out the format, lettering, and color.

What people ask us

What can I frame?

Pictures are the most common order we receive, but we also frame certificates, high school diplomas, college degrees, sports jerseys, wedding vows, and much more.

What are the frames made from?

Wood, metal, and medium-density fiberboard — the highest-quality materials available for the style you choose.

How long does a framing order take?

Custom framing generally takes two to three weeks. In some circumstances we can rush an order, but plan to bring your piece in at least three weeks before you need it.

What can I display in a shadow box?

Awards, military achievements, sports memorabilia, collector's items, museum displays, and more — anything with dimension that a flat frame can't hold.

Do you offer same-day framing?

We do — for certificates, diplomas, children's artwork, photographs, and other cherished pieces that need a quick turnaround.

Can you replace damaged frame glass?

Yes. Glass breaks in transport, hanging, or handling — bring it in and we'll replace it.
